Our team are so passionate about hairdressing and their clients that you really will feel at home while they work magic on your hair. The team are supported by a dynamic team of Hythe’s finest hairdressers, at all level’s, to suit your individual budget.

Theresa - Salon Owner

Theresa our salon owner started her career as a fresh faced 14-year-old Saturday assistant back in 1988 in the highly acclaimed Antonious/Womans World hair salon. After 4 years there she moved on to progress her career in a different direction concentrating mainly on growing her colour knowledge as that was a passion of hers. By the age of 40 Theresa decided it was time to give her heart and soul to her own salon and the ideas for saffron hair were written in notebooks all over her home until they all came together in may 2015 when we opened the doors to Saffron Hair - Hythe Salon. Since then the salon has won numerous gold and bronze awards in the industry including Theresa winning ‘Kent stylist of the year’ 2 consecutive years running! This year we look forward to the chance to win a few more to adorn our wall.

Beccy - Salon Manager

Beccy is our salon manager with over 17 years of salon experience. Realising from an early age that hairdressing was her passion she started working in a long-standing Folkestone salon at the age of 13, going on to complete her apprenticeship there. After working a couple of years on the salon floor, she decided to combine her love of hairdressing and travel by working for the prestige ‘Steiner leisure’ onboard ‘carnival cruise lines’. This allowed her to see the world whilst growing hair knowledge working with varied hair types e.g. African-Caribbean hair. Once back on dry land Beccy continued hairdressing in a few salons varying from Hythe to Fenwick Canterbury before joining us in 2017. In the salon, as well as running an extremely busy column, she is our ‘in-salon trainer’ educating our young apprentices on our trade and coaching them throughout their learning.

Isabel - Young Stylist

Isabel, Saffron hairs stylist. Isabel joined the Saffron Hair team as a 15 year old Saturday assistant over 5 years ago and has been trained in-salon by our very own Beccy and myself along with the acclaimed Saks academy. Isabel completed her training in the spring of 2022 with many distinctions and is continuing to learn many advanced services with help from Beccy. Isabel is our Cocochoco Keratin blow dry specialist and is quickly becoming an expert in Ombres and Balayage colours. We are exceptionally proud of the hard work she's put in over the last 5 years.
